But there was one tiny problem: I was absolutely terrible on that stage. Like, really terrible. My “acting” made my drama teacher wince, my classmates cringe, and my dreams of becoming Mrs. DiCaprio slowly began to fade.

But here’s the thing—I wasn’t ready to give up on Leo (or my creative ambitions) just yet. If I couldn’t act, I’d find another way to get close to him. So, I decided to pick up a pen and start writing stories instead. And, well, one thing led to another, and before I knew it, I was lost in a world of my own creation.

Fast forward a few years, and now I’m writing spicy contemporary romance about rock stars and billionaires. And you know what? It’s all Leonardo DiCaprio’s fault! If it wasn’t for him, I might never have realized that writing—rather than acting—was my true calling.

So, here’s to you, Leo. Thanks for the inspiration, the unrealistic teenage fantasies, and the push that got me where I am today. I might not be starring in your movies, but I’m definitely having a blast writing my own stories. And who knows? Maybe one day, I’ll write a character inspired by you… Just don’t be surprised if he ends up with a happily-ever-after. 😉
